Job Description - Learning Design Manager

The Learning Design Manager at JASARA PMC will play a crucial role in shaping and enhancing the learning experience within the organization. This position is responsible for developing innovative learning solutions that align with the strategic objectives of JASARA PMC. The Learning Design Manager will lead a team of instructional designers and collaborate with key stakeholders to identify learning needs, design effective training programs, and implement learning technologies that facilitate knowledge transfer and skills development.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Develop and implement a comprehensive learning design strategy that supports the organizational goals.

·       Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning objectives and design engaging course content.

·       Lead the design and development of multimedia learning materials, including eLearning modules, instructor-led training, and blended learning experiences.

·       Ensure instructional materials are up-to-date, relevant, and engaging for learners.

·       Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and make recommendations for improvement based on feedback and assessment data.

·       Manage the learning management system (LMS) and ensure smooth implementation of training programs.

·       Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in learning design and apply them to enhance the learning experience.

·       Experince in digital platforms such as Udemy with a strong knwowledge in Gamification.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.

·       Proven experience in instructional design and learning development, preferably in a managerial role.

·       Strong understanding of learning theories, instructional design models, and eLearning development tools.

·       Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar.

·       Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

·       Ability to analyze learning needs and create tailored learning solutions.

·       Proficiency in project management and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

·       Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
