Job Overview:

The Lecturer will possess a strong background in nursing, a passion for teaching and mentoring students, and will be responsible for delivering lectures, developing course materials, and assessing student learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging lectures on Fundamentals of Nursing to undergraduate students.
• Create and update comprehensive course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assignments.
• Utilize diverse teaching methods to enhance student learning.
• Assess student learning through exams, quizzes, and projects, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Mentor and guide students in their academic and professional development.
• Stay current with advancements in nursing and incorporate them into the curriculum.
• Collaborate with faculty to ensure consistency and quality in course delivery.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
• Engage in research and scholarly activities related to nursing.
• Assist in the recruitment and admission of new students.
• Maintain accurate student records.
• Adhere to university policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Nursing or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching Fundamentals of Nursing at the university level.
• Valid nursing license from a recognized authority.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in using technology for teaching and learning.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse colleagues and students.
• Passion for teaching and commitment to student success.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
