About the Family & Social Services Administration:

The Office of Early Childhood and Out-of-School Learning (OECOSL) within the Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) oversees early childcare, education, and out-of-school-time programs.  OECOSL's vision is that every Indiana community will have a strong network of Early Care and Education and Out-of-School Time programs that support the child, the family and local schools. Role Overview: 

This professional level role, Licensing Coach, collaborates with the Licensing Coach Manager to coach the licensing team, ensuring that child care licensing consultants are consistently implementing and are compliant with state regulations. Your primary goal is to ensure that all new and current licensing staff are onboarded and trained according to the most up to date licensing processes and regulations. Serving as the subject matter expert, you will oversee the distribution of state childcare licensing knowledge within the agency, the implementation of new processes for the consultants for licenses, registrations, and Child Care Development Funds (CCDF), including tools to ensure consistency and compliance for all regulatory inspections. The ideal candidate will have a general knowledge of the early childhood and child care field, advanced communication skills including the ability to listen well and speak to the purpose. They will have the ability to read highly technical material with good comprehension. Being bilingual is preferred.  This role requires the ability to travel throughout the state.

 
Salary Statement: 

The salary for this position traditionally starts at $53,222.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.
