Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in logistics and manufacturing environment

Education: B.E. Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and/or MBA Supply Chain

Location: Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Leadership
• Lead, implement, and culturally champion operations excellence in line with business requirements, through accountability and ownership to achieve Individual & company targets.
• Transport / Distribution
• Ensure that efficient transport DIFOT and performance ratios to all customers are maintained to build reliable contracts and relationships through efficient system management Ensure that Logistics cost per case is within Budgeted levels and continuous work to improve the quality and reduce price for Primary and Secondary transportation.
• Warehousing (Finished Goods)
• Effective management of all KSA storage spaces while maintaining agreed optimum finished goods minimum stock levels and planning the on-time delivery of distribution in a safe manor, with implementation of best practice FIFO, Maintain accurate inventory by SKU.
• Warehousing (Raw Materials)
• Effective management of all storage spaces while maintaining agreed optimum raw material minimum stock levels, with implementation of best Practice FIFO, Maintain inventory accuracy by SKU and by batch.
• Warehouse Management System
• Ensure the effective and efficient implementation of the new WMS, in order to optimize all transport, internal & external warehouse capacities, and inventory management through a well-structured project plan with smart Objectives & timelines.
• Transport / Fleet Management
• Ensure that all company vehicles are fully maintained to SASO and transport department standards through efficient maintenance scheduling, servicing, and continuous employee awareness training.
• Ensure that our company has signed contracts with all transporters for primary and secondary transportation
• Inventory Stock Management
• Ensure the cost effective and safe handling of all products is achieved, through a shipping carton best fit rationalization solution and best practice shipping & storage systems throughout all internal & external warehouses.
• Logistics Budgets
• Prepare, maintain, & control all budgets (Manpower and cost budgets) to ensure that expenditure is in line with the business plan
• Recruitment
• Build an effective team through best practice interview, assessment and recruitment standards to ensure that the right person for the job, fills each Position.
• Safety, Health & Environment
• Ensure that all SH&E standards are strictly adhered to, in order to achieve an accident-free workplace
• Good Manufacturing Practices
• Ensure that all products and supply chain processes are controlled in compliance with quality standards
• People / Morale
• Drive a daily culture of continuous improvement in order to provide full Support & individual career progression.
• Branch Legalization
• Leads the Branch legalization initiatives for all Ensure that all Branch WH are legally compliant with valid Civil Defense, Baladiya, SFDA and other Statutory licenses applicable. Follow-up with HR/Finance for updating SAGIA and ZAKAT
• Secondary Distribution Optimization
• Lead Route Net roll out across the Kingdom as per Master Plan duly approved in the Steering Committee
• Develop MIS and Dashboard for RN in BI
• Export Customer Services:
  • SFDA
  • Export license
  • VAT closure with Finance .
• Export dispatch:
  • Planning.
  • Budgeting.
• Co-ordination with planning, Export, Sales & logistics.
• Export Le preparation.
• Container tracking
• Communication with Transportation & Export customers to ensure effective co-ordinations.
