The project:
This project offers the chance to join a talented Mace team in delivering a major entertainment and luxury hospitality project, collaborating with renowned architects and global consultants. The project involves extensive infrastructure and built assets, delivered rapidly through a hands-on construction management approach, ideal for those experienced in managing both main and sub-contract packages.
Leads logistics planning across complex projects, ensuring effective planning, scheduling, and performance monitoring. Supports project delivery through proactive coordination and controls, helping achieve programme objectives, minimise risk and maintain timely, cost-effective outcomes across a portfolio of projects.
You’ll be responsible for:
• Oversee logistics programme reviews, validating sequencing, constructability, constraints, and delivery readiness across assigned scope.
• Monitor progress, performance, and forecasting, providing robust analysis and reporting to support informed decision-making.
• Support contractual planning activities, including delay analysis, change assessment, and programme compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate schedule, cost, risk, and logistics data, enabling safe and efficient project delivery.
• Weather-sensitive logistics planning and contingency management.
• Management of interfaces between multiple work packages.
• Driving collaboration between logistics and construction teams.
• Managing contractors and third-party logistics providers.
• Manage logistics planning and schedule control, ensuring integrated, deliverable programmes aligned with project objectives and site requirements.
• Apply robust planning, assurance, and reporting processes to support effective forecasting and decision-making.
• Coordinate contractor resources, logistics activities, and operational interfaces to enable safe, efficient project delivery.
• Influence stakeholders, support project requirements, and contribute to Mace’s net zero carbon ambitions.
You’ll need to have:
• Relevant degree and professional membership (APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA, or equivalent).
• Extensive planning and project controls experience on major programmes, including leadership responsibilities.
• Advanced Primavera P6, program assurance, and contractor schedule review expertise.
• Strong knowledge of construction delivery, FIDIC contracts and Saudi Arabia visa/client requirements
• Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and relevant work experience working on high-valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
