Maintenance Incharge ( Heavy Equipment's)

The Maintenance Incharge (Heavy Equipment) at ABIS is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role includes planning and coordinating maintenance schedules, supervising maintenance teams, managing spare parts inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The Maintenance Incharge will work closely with equipment operators and project managers to minimize downtime and extend the life of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities of heavy equipment.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans.
• Manage maintenance team; assign tasks and monitor performance.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and inspections.
• Coordinate procurement and inventory of spare parts and tools.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide technical support.
• Collaborate with project teams to optimize equipment availability.

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in maintenance of heavy equipment, with at least 3 years in Managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment systems and maintenance practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to compliance.
