Job Summary:
Overall responsibility for the maintenance of mechanical plant equipment carrying out process as per as per the work instructions and procedures in accordance with maintenance schedules, guidelines, quality and achieve global objectives set up by Special Process Manager and Company.
Responsibilities:
• Supports the Maintenance Team Leader to achieve objectives and daily maintenance requirement.
• Conducts regular inspections and preventive maintenance on plant equipment and machinery to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
• Performs repairs and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to resolve breakdowns and malfunctions promptly.
• Develops and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to maximize equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.
• Collaborates with the production team to plan maintenance activities and reviews proper execution of maintenance level 1 by them, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Maintains accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and equipment history records.
• Conducts root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Stays updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in plant maintenance to enhance efficiency and optimize equipment performance.
• Coordinates with external service providers and contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance tasks.
• Ensures compliance with safety regulations and standards during maintenance activities, including lockout/tagout procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage.
• Trains and mentor junior maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in equipment maintenance.
• Performs and logs maintenance level 2 and 3 as per WI's and requirements.
• Records process information and completion of the job and supported documents and data collection in ERP in order to maintain all required records as per SAT process requirements and defined WI's.
Qualifications:
• Diploma or degree in production, manufacturing or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 year s experience electrical plant equipment maintenance in aerospace, defense industries or other industries.
Experience:
Knowledge and exposure with various equipment not limited to, CNC Machining, Fanuc Robot, Painting and Blasting equipment, Heat treatment installation and hydraulic press.
Awareness of international standards in environment, health and safety.
Awareness regarding data collection.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
Proficiency in using various tools and equipment for troubleshooting and repair.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex equipment issues.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance principles and practices.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
