Manager - Cost Planner (CDU 271)

Qiddiya Investment Company is excited to announce an opening for the role of Manager - Cost Planner (CDU 271). We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic professional to oversee the cost planning efforts for our revolutionary projects in the entertainment and cultural sector of Saudi Arabia.

In this role, you will be essential in developing cost estimating strategies, managing budgeting processes, and ensuring financial effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with project deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive cost planning strategies for diverse projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets, providing clear documentation for all assumptions and methodologies used.
• Monitor and analyze project expenditures, conducting variance reports to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure financial targets are met and align with project schedules.
• Generate financial performance reports for senior management, highlighting key insights and project updates.
• Enhance and maintain cost planning processes and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness in budgeting.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, encouraging collaboration for successful project delivery.

• Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• At least 6-8 years of experience in cost planning, financial analysis, or project management, preferably in the construction or development sectors.
• Strong understanding of cost estimation techniques and financial management principles.
• Proficiency in cost estimation software, as well as Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills with a proven ability to solve complex problems effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with different teams.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
