Job Description :

Position : Mechanical Engineer
Experience : Minimum 7 years in residential & commercial building projects
Preferred Experience : Experience with SABIC projects
Salary : SAR 7,000 to 8,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development : Develop mechanical systems and components for residential and commercial building projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Project Management : Oversee and manage mechanical engineering aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
• Technical Expertise : Provide technical guidance and support on mechanical engineering matters, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Quality Assurance : Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure high standards of workmanship and compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaboration : Work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into building designs.
• Problem Solving : Identify and resolve mechanical issues that arise during construction, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and budgets.
• Documentation : Prepare detailed engineering reports, specifications, and documentation for all mechanical engineering activities.

Requirements:

• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience : Minimum of 7 years in mechanical engineering within the residential and commercial building sectors.
• Preferred Experience : Prior experience working on SABIC projects will be highly regarded.
• Skills :

oProficiency in mechanical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks)

oStrong understanding of building codes and regulations

oExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

oAbility to work independently and as part of a team

oEffective communication and interpersonal skills
