Mechanical Fitter - Saudi Arabia

In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and machinery. Your expertise will ensure that all operations are conducted under the highest safety standards and that all equipment is functioning effectively.

Responsibilities

• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate assembly and installation of mechanical systems.
• Assemble and install various mechanical components, including pumps, motors, valves, and related equipment.
• Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to perform fitting tasks.
• Ensure precise alignment and adjustment of all mechanical components, adhering to quality standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with team members, engineers, and other professionals to meet project deadlines and requirements.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, complying with all health and safety regulations.
• Document work performed, including maintenance logs and reporting of any issues encountered.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Fitter, preferably in the Oil & Energy sector.
• Experience working in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good organizational and communication skills to work within a team environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
