A great company in chemical industry in Saudi Arabia is seeking to hire urgently :
Mechanical integrity leader
Requirement:
Degree in relevant Engineering or technical discipline (BS in Mechanical or Metallurgy or equivalent
Experience (Essential):
Greater than 10 years of experience within manufacturing environment, heavy chemical ideally with toxic and corrosive substances,
or petrochemical plants of which 5 years must be in management or comparable/similar position.
Business/Industry Specific:
• Proven experience of working within a complex manufacturing and operational/maintenance excellence environment
• In depth experience within the chemical or petrochemical process plants or related industries
• Excellent management of people and resources effectively; effective team building and manage effective team, and with good knowledge in competency and performance management system.
• Knowledge of working ethics, values and organization’s mission and vision.
• Ability to encourage, motivate and guide team in learning and improving effectiveness.
• Good knowledge in a high hazard process/environment.
Excellent knowledge of process safety management methods, tools and techniques to support an environment that meets the needs of the organization.
Safety Critical Responsibilities:
This position has been identified as safety critical.
Safety critical responsibilities are as follows:
Carry out design, calculation, checking or approving of information with Safety Critical Elements/Equipment or used in further specification of SCE and/or process.
Approve changes to plant equipment procedures.
Provide resources to personnel carrying out inspection and testing for the reliability and integrity of safety critical equipment.
Be a role model in promoting process safety with exemplary behavior, and also increase awareness
