Job Description - Mega Projects Specification Sales Manager -KSA-Based in Riyadh

Currently we are seeking Mega / Strategic Project Sales Manager, onsite in Riyadh Saudi Arabia.
The chosen person will be responsible for developing, managing, and expanding Eaton’s network within the assigned region. The role focuses on early project identification and positioning Eaton’s solutions in large or serialized large projects. The position requires strong coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure effective project follow‑up, opportunity management, and successful execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Relationship Management
Identify, qualify, and develop new project opportunities within the region.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with engineering firms, consultants, and key decision‑makers.
Conduct discovery meetings to understand project requirements and develop initial solution concepts.
Influence project stakeholders to align with Eaton’s portfolio and value proposition.
Project & Opportunity Management
Transfer project concepts and requirements to internal technical and support teams.
Make informed bid / no‑bid recommendations based on project scope and strategic fit.
Maintain accurate and timely project information in Salesforce.
Conduct regular customer meetings and lead business review sessions.
Manage the opportunity pipeline, including quotations and follow‑up activities.
Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement
Support the standardization and optimization of project engagement processes.
Analyze lost and identify improvement actions.
Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to enhance Eaton’s market presence.
Promote continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen project engagement effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Professional Technician, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in electrical engineering.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in large projects, preferably in electrical or related fields.
Proven experience in preparing and managing techno‑commercial offers for Low Voltage switchgear, Busway systems, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), and other electrical distribution solutions.
Established and constructive relationships with EPC contractors and key market players in Saudi Arabia.
Strong relationships with C‑level decision‑makers within major end‑users, particularly Public Investment Fund (PIF) entities such as DGDA, QIC, RSG, MOS, MOI, MOD, JCDC, JEC, RUA, RCU, and others.
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft 365
Experience with CRM/PRM systems
Familiarity with BidManager, CPQ, and Copilot tools
Strong understanding of LV switchgear and busway systems
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presalesion skills.
Strong customer relationship management and problem solving abilities.
Market intelligence.
