MEP Commercial Director - MBS Stadium SPA 245

Qiddiya Investment Company is on the lookout for an experienced MEP Commercial Director to lead the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of our prestigious MBS Stadium project. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful coordination of MEP systems within the larger scope of the stadium construction, aimed at delivering a world-class venue for entertainment and sports.

As the MEP Commercial Director, you will be responsible for managing the commercial functions associated with MEP contracts, ensuring that project objectives are met efficiently while adhering to budget and timelines. Your expertise in commercial management, contract negotiation, and stakeholder collaboration will be vital to this project's success.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all commercial aspects of MEP contracts related to the MBS Stadium project.
• Oversee tender analysis to support QIC staff and agreement of change as well as oversight of Cost Consultants
• Develop and implement procurement strategies for MEP services and materials.
• Ensure effective contract management, including negotiation, administration, and compliance with contractual obligations
• Collaborate closely with design and construction teams to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into the project.
• Analyze financial performance, prepare budgets, and conduct regular forecasts related to MEP works.
• Manage relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders involved in the MEP scope.
• Implement risk management strategies to minimize financial exposure related to MEP contracts.
• Lead and develop the commercial team responsible for MEP management, focusing on professional growth and best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Engineering, or a related field; MRICS
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in commercial management with an MEP Bias, preferably in large-scale construction projects.
• Extensive experience in contract negotiation, management, and compliance.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and their integration into construction projects.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
• Experience managing projects within the Middle East region is preferred.
