Merchandiser

Purpose of the role:

To ensure accurate and timely display of product prices, promotional signage, and shelf labeling across the store. The Merchandiser maintains compliance with company guidelines for price integrity, supports promotions, and ensures a professional presentation to enhance customer experience in A-Class stores.

Roles, responsibility and authority:

Price & Signage Management

• Update price tags and promotional signage daily, ensuring accuracy across all departments.


• Replace damaged or missing labels and boards promptly.


• Prepare price signage in advance for promotional periods.


• Deliver updated signage to department team leaders and confirm implementation.

Coordination & Support

• Liaise with IT departments to resolve printing or equipment issues.


• Request printing paper and materials through the Operation Manager.


• Provide daily reports of updated price changes to the Operation Manager.


• Collaborate with section team leaders to verify correct labeling of all products.

Standards & Compliance

• Ensure every product has a visible and correct price displayed at its location.


• Maintain all merchandising equipment in good working order and report when servicing or replacement is required.


• Follow company policies and government regulations regarding pricing, labeling, and workplace safety.


• Support store standards by keeping signage areas tidy, organized, and audit ready.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Minimum 2 years’ experience in merchandising, pricing, or retail operations.


• Basic computer literacy and ability to work with printing systems.


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.


• Good communication and teamwork skills.
