The Mission Critical Consultant acts as the technical authority for mission-critical communications across ADC’s infrastructure. With deep subject-matter expertise in mission-critical network architecture, platforms, and device ecosystems, this role ensures the design, deployment, and evolution of secure, resilient, and high-availability networks. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in aligning ADC’s mission-critical capabilities with regulatory requirements and global standards, while contributing to cross-functional initiatives spanning public safety, industrial IoT, and utilities.
Serve as the technical authority on mission-critical network architecture, ensuring availability, redundancy, and fault tolerance in end-to-end designs.
Provide expert guidance on mission-critical communication platforms (MCPTT, MCVideo, MCData), ensuring compliance with 3GPP and ETSI standards.
Define and validate device-level requirements for mission-critical environments (ruggedization, dual-SIM, fallback behavior, QoS adherence).
Support architecture design, field validation, and system integration, collaborating closely with engineering teams.
Conduct vendor and product evaluations to ensure solutions align with mission-critical requirements.
Oversee the operational readiness of high-availability networks, including SLAs, fault management, predictive maintenance, and recovery objectives.
Ensure compliance with telecom security principles for mission-critical systems (encryption, authentication, signaling protection), adhering to CST, NCA, and SAIS regulations.
Contribute technical expertise to cross-functional programs, embedding mission-critical elements in solutions for public safety, utilities, and critical industries.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in telecommunications engineering, computer engineering, or any other related field.
Preferred to have a professional certificates as ( ITIL, 3GPP, 5G, LTE, CISSP, CISM, CCNP security)
Experience:
+8 years of experience in telecommunications, with a strong focus on mission-critical solutions.
Demonstrated hands-on experience with MCX platforms, LTE/5G integration, and secure device ecosystems.
Skills:
Familiarity with emergency services, defense, or critical national infrastructure (CNI) sectors is a strong advantage.
