Job Title: Multi Welder

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Welder to join our client’s technical team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in various welding techniques and capable of working with different materials like stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum. The Multi Welder must be versatile and capable of reading blueprints and technical drawings to perform high-quality welds in structural, pipeline, and fabrication works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding using a variety of techniques such as SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding), GTAW (TIG), GMAW (MIG), and FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding).
  

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding procedure specifications (WPS).
  

• Weld materials including stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, and alloys.
  

• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with safety standards.
  

• Operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
  

• Perform grinding, cutting, fitting, and finishing of welded parts as needed.
  

• Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and supervisors for seamless execution of tasks.
  

• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations in the workplace.
  

• Conduct routine maintenance of welding equipment.

Essential Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Welding or equivalent technical qualification.
  

• Certification in welding processes (e.g., ASME, AWS, or ISO standards) is preferred.
  

• Valid welding certificates for TIG, MIG, and Arc welding (if required by the client).
  

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in multiple welding techniques (TIG, MIG, Arc, etc.).
  

• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
  

• Good physical stamina and hand-eye coordination.
  

• Attention to detail with strong focus on safety and quality.
  

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in demanding environments.
  

• Familiarity with using measuring instruments and welding inspection tools.
