Network Engineer

Awtad is looking for a talented Network Engineer to join our IT team. Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless networks to support company operations.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary improvements.
• Ensure the security of network systems by implementing best practices and monitoring for vulnerabilities.
• Manage and optimize network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
• Work closely with the IT team to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and best practices.
• Document network configurations, changes, and updates for future reference.
• Provide technical support and guidance to staff on network-related issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest networking trends, technologies, and best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) and architecture.
• Experience with network hardware configuration (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Knowledge of security protocols and best practices for network security.
• CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent networking certifications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel for technical documentation.
• Expertise in Microsoft Visio for designing network diagrams and infrastructure layouts.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
