We are currently looking for an Oracle Apps DBA – Application Database Administrator (RDBMS) to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and management of Oracle RDBMS databases that support our enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Oracle database technologies, a solid understanding of database administration practices, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Responsibilities:

• Administer, manage, and maintain Oracle RDBMS databases, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
• Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software and perform regular patching.
• Monitor database performance, and troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly.
• Implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data integrity and availability.
• Manage user access and permissions, enforcing security protocols in accordance with company policies.
• Conduct database tuning and optimization to enhance overall system performance.
• Work closely with application developers to provide database support and resolve application-related issues.
• Document database configurations, procedures, and best practices for knowledge sharing and training.
• Stay updated on Oracle database features, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator, with a focus on Oracle RDBMS.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture and administration tools.
• Experience with database performance tuning, backup and recovery techniques, and security management.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for database querying and scripting.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Oracle certification is a plus.
