Scope of Position
Assist in the coordination of all maintenance & repairs of the facilities and equipment. Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes.
Responsibilities:
Respond and attend to repair requests. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests. Prioritize and organize work assignments. Be available for any emergencies and act in an engineering capacity to protect guests and associates, and preserve the building and its systems during the emergency. Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed. Maintain the hotel facility and related equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Communicate each day’s activities and problems that occur to the other shifts using approved communication programs and standards. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries To abide by all rules, regulations, policies, LQE, MOQA and Safe, Sound & Sustainable by Mandarin Oriental standards. To be responsible for retrieving and completing work orders as per policies and procedures in HotSoS. To be responsible for completing all work order from HotSoS prior to ending the shift. Complete safety training and certifications. Properly store flammable materials. Attend meetings and trainings as requested Perform other duties as assigned by Engineering Supervisor or Assistant Director of Engineering. Sustainable Responsibilities:
This role involves implementing eco-friendly practices, educating guests/colleagues on sustainable initiatives, and continuously seeking ways to minimize the hotel's environmental footprint. Knowledge of waste sorting and recycling procedures. Energy Conservation: Water Conservation. Supporting sustainability initiatives. Requirements:
Hospitality background (4-5 star hotel) Good communication skills. Transferable Iqama. Advertised: 03 Jun 2024 Arab Standard Time
