Job Description - Partnership Account Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Client Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, ensuring superior customer service.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Partnership Sales team to fulfill agreements.
  • Oversee day-to-day partner relationships.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work with all departments (e.g., marketing, media, operations, digital) to fulfill client partnership agreements.
  • Ensure clear communication across the organization.

Partnership Management:

  • Manage partnership assets for motorsport sponsorships and handle full account responsibilities.
  • Maintain effective communication with partners, agencies, and internal teams.
  • Oversee day-to-day relationships with commercial partners.

Project & Event Management:

  • Assist with sponsor-related projects and oversee on-site partner activations.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.

Account Management & Fulfillment:

  • Manage full account responsibilities for assigned SMC partners.
  • Develop tracking and reporting procedures to maximize activation impact.
  • Understand SMC and partner businesses in depth.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Create partner recap reports and case studies.
  • Conduct data analysis to demonstrate partnership ROI.

Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Contribute to strategic campaign planning and execution.
  • Align SMC’s goals with partner objectives to create impactful marketing programs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years in account management, sponsorship activation, and partnership marketing in sports and entertainment.
  • Experience in motorsport partnerships and managing corporate partnerships.
  • Handling multifaceted events/projects and liaising with global markets.
  • International experience in live events/sports industry is desirable.
  • Fluency in English & Arabic, strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, ability to understand diverse situations and build relationships, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, data analytics, project management software, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Analytical mindset with creative problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to attend events, travel, and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
