JOB SUMMARY :

As a Pediatric Surgery Senior registrar for a top tier hospital in Saudi Arabia, you will be responsible for providing high-quality surgical care to children in need. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of surgical conditions affecting infants, children, and adolescents.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Demonstrate advanced clinical skills in pediatric surgery.
• Manage complex medical cases independently.
• Provide leadership in delivering high-quality patient care.
• Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and residents.
• Contribute to the training and development of medical teams.
• Collaborate closely with consultants and specialists in multidisciplinary teams.
• Offer expert consultations on challenging medical cases.
• Engage in clinical research activities.
• Contribute to academic programs, teaching, and training initiatives.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Implement and adhere to evidence-based medical practices.
• Assume leadership responsibilities within the medical department.
• Contribute to decision-making processes related to patient care and departmental policies.
• Pursue continuous professional development and stay abreast of advancements in the medical field.
• Attend conferences and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education :

• Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
• Completion of required period of training in pediatric surgery.
• (Arab, Jordanian, Lebanese )Board certification in the relevant medical specialty is typically

required or equivalent. fulfilling the criteria for Senior Registrar as required

• A certificate recognized by the Saudi Commission is a must
• Dataflow is a must.

Professional Experience

• From 02 to 04 years of experience after certification.
• A registered member of the Saudi Board Council is preferable.

Language

• Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
