Plant Operator

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Plant Operator to oversee the daily operations of industrial equipment and machinery within the facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring plant systems, ensuring efficient production processes, and maintaining a safe working environment.

• Operate and monitor plant machinery and control systems to ensure optimal performance.
  

• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance of equipment.
  

• Record operational data such as readings, maintenance logs, and output levels.
  

• Detect and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or process deviations.
  

• Collaborate with the maintenance and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
  

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  

• Conduct routine cleaning and housekeeping of the plant and machinery.
  

• Participate in shutdowns, start-ups, and emergency response activities.
  

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and report incidents immediately.
  

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical / Production Engineering or equivalent.
  

• Certifications in safety (like OSHA, HAZMAT, or equivalent) are an added advantage.
  

• Strong technical knowledge of plant operations and machinery.
  

• Familiarity with SCADA/DCS systems and process control panels.
  

• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  

• Ability to follow instructions and SOPs accurately.
  

• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  

• Physical stamina and ability to work in hot/noisy industrial environments.
