PMO Director

The PMO Director is responsible for leading the Project Management Office (PMO) function, ensuring effective governance, execution oversight, and portfolio management across strategic programs and projects. The role focuses on driving delivery excellence, standardizing project management practices, and supporting executive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the PMO function across all projects and transformation initiatives.
• Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, methodologies, and standards.
• Monitor portfolio performance, project progress, risks, and dependencies.
• Ensure alignment between project delivery and organizational strategic objectives.
• Provide executive-level reporting, dashboards, and portfolio insights.
• Oversee project planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and prioritization.
• Support project teams in resolving escalations, risks, and operational challenges.
• Drive consistency and quality across all project management activities.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and stakeholders to ensure delivery success.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to PMO processes and governance.
• Manage and develop PMO teams and project management capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
• 12–18+ years of experience in PMO, project management, or transformation leadership roles.
• Strong experience managing large-scale programs and project portfolios.
• Experience in consulting, government, or enterprise transformation environments preferred.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or PgMP are highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, governance, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and decision-making capabilities.
• Strong communication and executive presentation skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
• Candidate must hold Saudi nationality.
