Product Analytics Manager - Riyadh

About the role

The Mozn brand is alive within a plethora of stakeholder touchpoints and therefore the most suitable candidate for the Senior Data Scientist position would be specialised in Open Banking, Credit Scoring, Financial Fraud Detection, Sanction Screening, Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures, and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) initiatives. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing advanced analytics models and techniques to detect and prevent fraudulent activities and mitigate AML risks.

What you'll do

• Evaluate new product features against key performance indicators (KPIs) such as: usage, adoption rates, and customer satisfaction, with heavy reliance on A/B testing
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations, capturing key product metrics, to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders, including leadership.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Product Managers and Designers to ensure data completeness and efficiency then implement tracking tools for better visibility and data accessibility.
• Interpret trends and patterns related to user behaviour.
• Support data-driven prioritization of product roadmap initiatives.
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to fraud detection, AML, and financial crime prevention.
• Understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, with experience in applying these technologies to product analytics.
• Research, ideate then scope AI features for: AML and fraud prevention use cases, to be developed in the FOCAL platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years experience in leading advanced data science projects or complex analytics projects
• A minimum of 2 years in developing analytics for Products, particularly creating dashboards that track user behaviour
• Proficiency in: MixPanel, Amplitude or similar Product Analytics software, is required
• Proficiency and experience in the use of BI software, such as: Metabase, Tableau, Mode or similar software, is required
• Familiarity with statistical analysis methods and A/B testing techniques.
• Proficient in handling and analysing large datasets using SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience in data extraction, visualisation, analysis, and transformation.
• Expert in building and maintaining advanced ML and statistical models, experience in graph analytics and using graph networks will be advantageous.
• Skilled in utilising databases, data warehousing, data modelling techniques and feature generation / feature engineering.
• Experience in building fraud detection models, or consulting on fraud detection / fraud prevention systems or AML is a plus.
• Proficiency in English language and Arabic languages is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and adaptability
