Job Description - Production Engineer

Description

Communicate and deliver information in a business context both verbally and in writing in a clear, concise, and comprehensive manner.
Organize and plan work/project activities to efficiently accomplish tasks and meet short & long term objectives.
Implement Lean Manufacturing Principles: Just In Time (JIT), Six Sigma, Ishikawa, 5S, SMED, PDCA and other related tools
Operate all steps and activities for a required production machine according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) or other instructions if applicable
Knowledge in the use of different machines, tools and labor to manufacture products, and in the general process of transforming raw materials into finished goods
Apply local, regional, and international occupational health & safety policies, regulations, and the standards and procedures.
Understand and interpret legal requirements, regulations, and internal procedures, to protect humans, property and prevent Market losses.
Inspect and test tools, spare parts, raw materials, work in progress and finished products, using simple to complex lab equipment, against performance and standard limits and according to engineering/procedural standards in order to uncover and address deviations.
Systematically monitor and evaluate the entire manufacturing process at NAPCO in order to ensure that standards of quality are being attained and for driving engineering and manufacturing process improvements
