Job Description

Policies , Processes & Procedures

1.    Oversee the implementation of department policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of the maintenance department activities so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled that with compliance with the QMS “Quality + Halal Food management system” requirement (ISO9001+ HFMS).

 

Technical and Executive Duties

2.    Conduct daily inspections of the production areas having sanitation and to correct organization    issues from the start of the shift 

3.    Collect reports on the absentees from each Line leader and take the necessary action to meet the target on a daily basis.

4.    Ensure that the production plan is distributed to each Line Leader to instruct any special requirements to them as these requirements 

5.    Ensure that adequate raw and packaging materials are available to meet the production targets keeping the Operations and Managers informed of any shortages

6.    Review the daily Labor schedule to ensure that the minimum overtime is utilized and that the Labor assigned can perform the required duties 

7.    Monitor the process and quality parameters reported from each operator to ensure that the product meets specifications Obtaining from the Quality Control when product specification are not achieved

8.    Coordinate with maintenance personnel to ensure that all machines are prepared for operation issuing request when necessary

9.    Summarize shift performance offering explanations to both positive and negative variances

10.    Ensure that all materials on the production floor are kept organized and that the excesses are returned to the store on a weekly basis  

11.    Arrange foremen alternative activities for all employees made idle due to line stoppages – planned or unplanned   

12.    Plan the weekly sanitation requirements communicating with the necessary departments on any specific needs  

13.    Coordinate with foremen and prepare the plant for monthly inventory ensuring that the necessary   reports are submitted to Accounts  

14.    Accomplish other assignments addressed by the Senior Supervisor  

15.    Coordinate with the shift mechanic and the line leader for any problems in the machine and fix it right at the earliest 

16.    Any other duties assigned by the superiors 

17.    Should be aware of G.M.P and follow HACCP & SQF rules 

18.    Monitoring the packers and the helpers and labors in his machine and ensure that they are working probably and as per UFIC approved quantities and quality
