Project Controls Director (Del 422)

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Controls Director to take charge of project controls for a variety of transformative projects. In this key position, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring that all project deliverables align with time, quality, and financial constraints, while fostering an environment of proactive risk management and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enhance project controls strategies that align with Qiddiya's overall objectives for large-scale developments.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and control systems.
• Identify potential risks at every stage of the project lifecycle and implement measures to mitigate them.
• Produce comprehensive reports that clearly detail project status, forecasts, and variances for management review.
• Collaborate closely with project management teams to ensure thorough integration of project controls into all phases of project execution.
• Provide guidance and leadership to the project controls team, encouraging professional development and efficiency.
• Ensure all project control processes adhere to the best practices and regulatory requirements in the industry.
• Research and integrate emerging trends and technologies that can enhance project delivery and efficiency.

• A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; advanced degrees are advantageous.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in project controls, specifically within significant construction or development initiatives.
• Proven track record of managing project controls teams across multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong expertise in cost management, scheduling, and risk assessment methodologies.
• Excellent analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Familiarity with advanced project management and controls software is essential.
• PMP or equivalent certification is a significant advantage.
• Experience working in the Middle East region is preferred.
