Project Controls Director - Roads/Highways (DEL 153)

Qiddiya Investment Company, a pioneering developer in the entertainment and leisure sector, is looking for a specialized Project Controls Director for Roads/Highways. This integral role focuses on overseeing and managing project controls for large infrastructure projects related to roads and highways within the Qiddiya project portfolio. Your expertise will support ensuring all deliverables meet rigorous standards of quality, cost, and schedule, ultimately contributing to the successful realization of our ambitious vision.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute project controls strategies specifically for roads and highways projects, ensuring compliance with best practices.
• Manage and optimize project schedules, budgets, and performance metrics to track the progress of infrastructure initiatives.
• Identify and analyze risks associated with project execution and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
• Provide detailed reports and presentations to management and stakeholders showcasing project cost status, forecasts, and timelines.
• Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to ensure effective integration of project controls into all phases of project delivery.
• Lead and mentor the project controls team, providing guidance on technical matters and enhancing their professional development.
• Ensure that all project control activities are documented accurately and adhere to regulatory and compliance standards.
• Keep informed about the latest industry trends, technologies, and innovations that can enhance project delivery methods.

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
• At least 10 years of project controls experience specifically related to roads and highways projects.
• Proven experience managing project controls for large infrastructure projects.
• In-depth understanding of scheduling, cost estimating, and risk management specific to road/highway construction.
• Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach to data management and reporting.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively guide teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of relevant project management software and tools is essential.
• PMP or equivalent certification will be advantageous.
• Experience working in the Middle East region is preferred.
