Project Director

Our client, a leading engineering and construction company, is seeking an experienced Project Director to oversee large\-scale building construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for full project lifecycle management, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, timeline, and quality standards.

• Lead and direct multiple building construction projects from initiation through completion.
  




• Develop and implement project execution strategies aligned with company objectives.
  




• Oversee budgeting, cost control, procurement, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  




• Manage project teams including engineers, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
  




• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, building codes, and safety regulations.
  




• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  




• Manage client relationships and act as primary point of contact for stakeholders.
  




• Review and approve technical designs, construction methodologies, and contract variations.
  




• Identify and mitigate project risks.
  




• Report regularly to executive management on project performance.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering preferred).
  




• Minimum 12+ years of experience in building construction.
  




• At least 5 years in a senior leadership/project management role.
  




• Proven experience delivering large\-scale commercial, residential, or mixed\-use developments.
  




• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and project planning.
  




• Professional certification (PMP, Chartered Engineer, or equivalent) is advantageous.
