Project Director

Role and Responsibilities:

• Communicate with the Client’s representatives continuously regarding status in the assigned area and areas of concern.
• Take action on Project Management procedures and prepare correspondence needed to comply with Contract requirements and Client’s procedures.
• Maintain and suggest improvements to specific project procedures for monitoring and reporting in the assigned area.
• Identify priorities to assure execution of tasks by providing clear direction on methods, timeframe and schedule to achieve the stated goals.
• Provide a clear definition of the roles and responsibilities of staff in relation to the assigned area.
• Attend Executive meetings, Commercial, Contract and Claims meetings and progress meetings as may be required to understand project status.
• Monitor performance to assure the successful delivery of the Key Performance Indicators and client contractual requirements.
• Manage and perform the cost control function for the PMC
• Prepare periodic reports on commercial and contract performance of the project (including progress, extensions of time, commercial, claims, determinations and the like.
• Ensure Client is up to date with all aspects of the commercial aspects of the project

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering field
• Must have a minimum of 15 years of experience with strong international experience.
• Experience working in a large PMC
• Experience working in luxury project / residential / townhouse / villas
• Competent IT user.
• Great leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
