Qiddiya Investment Company is excited to announce an opportunity for a highly skilled Project Director - Delivery - Sport BU to join our team. This role focuses on overseeing and delivering sports-related projects within our groundbreaking entertainment and leisure destination. You will be responsible for ensuring that all projects meet quality, time, and budget targets while playing a key role in enhancing Qiddiya’s vision as a leader in sports and entertainment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of sport-related projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and stakeholder expectations.
• Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resource plans, ensuring effective management of all project components.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to facilitate smooth project execution and delivery.
• Monitor project progress, providing status updates to senior management and proactively addressing any issues or delays.
• Ensure that all projects adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices relevant to sports facility construction.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including local authorities, contractors, and team members.
• Implement risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate potential project risks.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within project teams, promoting continuous improvement efforts.

• Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in construction, project management, specifically within the sports or entertainment sectors.
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects related to sports facilities or large-scale sporting events.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to drive project success through collaboration.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in project management software and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Experience with sustainability practices in project management is a plus.
