Job Overview

We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced QC Mechanical Engineer to work for our client (We Build) on a metro rail project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, through AlOhdah Contracting Establishment. Ensuring the quality of mechanical engineering works connected to MEP, road, and landscaping projects will be your responsibility as a QC Mechanical Engineer. With an executive level post requiring more than ten years of expertise, this is a contract-to-hire opportunity.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and quality control activities for mechanical engineering works related to MEP, Road, Urban works, and landscape projects
• Review and evaluate project specifications, drawings, and technical documents to ensure compliance with standards and regulations
• Identify and report on non-conformance issues, and propose corrective actions
• Monitor and inspect construction activities to ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and quality standards
• Provide technical support and guidance to the project team to resolve quality-related issues
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and consultants, to maintain quality control procedures
• Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement quality enhancement measures
• Prepare quality control reports and documentation, and maintain accurate records.
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with 10 years exp in QC, IR and NCR are must.
• Should have hands on experience in Road, Landscape and Urban works exp are must.
• Extensive experience in quality control and inspection of MEP, road, and landscape projects. Preferable candidates who worked in Metro Rail / Airport / Large commercial project.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices
• Experience in conducting audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement
• Excellent communication skills, problem-solving and analytical skills
• Should be willing to work 10 hours a day for 6 days a week at our client project location.
• Should join immediately or a notice period of maximum 15 days will be given.
• Preference will be given to the candidates from KSA.
