Job Description

  • Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities, specifications, and condition of goods against purchase orders and delivery documents.
  • Inspect delivered items for damages, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
  • Prepare and process receiving reports, goods received notes (GRNs), and related documentation.
  • Ensure all received items are properly labeled, recorded, and forwarded to the appropriate departments or storage areas.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Accounts Payable, and suppliers regarding receiving issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of received goods and update inventory systems.
  • Verify supplier invoices and supporting documents before submission for payment processing.
  • Monitor the quality and condition of received materials according to company procedures.
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock reconciliation activities.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and organization of received goods.
  • Maintain a clean and safe receiving area in compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing receiving records and documentation.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and inventory control practices.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

1–3 years of experience in receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, or a related role.

Knowledge of purchase orders, receiving procedures, and inventory documentation.

Experience  inventory management systems.

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and office applications.

Additional Information

experience is an asset

Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
