Our client is seeking anexperienced solicitor to join their growing medical negligence Theideal candidate should be passionate about helping people,experienced handling a medical negligence caseload, excellentorganisation and the ability to work well with junior team;
Youwill be working on all aspects of litigation within your team, bothpre-litigation and post-litigation work, in a cradle to grave;
Requirements
MainResponsibilities:
- Providingsupport, guidance and assistance to the team to deliver outstandingservice to
- Proactiveand commercial case management andprogression
- Supportingthe Team Leader in ensuring the delivery of the team s financialperformanceKPIs
- Effectiveand thorough timerecording
Responsiblefor:
- Discussingand agreeing case tactics and planning with the Team Leader andmembers of theteam
- Identifyingcases which are ready for LOC, settlement and service within theteam
- Workingwith the team to ensure that relevant information is beingcollected and collated to enable the progression of thecase
- Managementof a caseload in a proactive commercialmanner
- Co-ordinatingthe progression of cases with all internal and externalparties
- Draftingof legal documentation including LOC, letters ofinstruction
- Negotiatingsettlement and the issuing and service of proceedings should it berequired
- Overseeingthe documentation and correspondence produced by theteam
- Advisingthe team on any technical issues arising from their
