Job Description - Petroleum Inspector

Job Description

Responsible for performing Quantity and Quality inspection or Verification of various products and goods in accordance with company standards, legal and client requirements and API/IP/ASTM STANDARDS.
Also responsible for assisting Operations Supervisors in coaching and training newly hired and / or existing Trainee inspectors.
Inspector has to complete SIR/SAT training and use SAT file for report preparation.
Coordinates with Operations supervisor on schedules and other information pertinent to the job.
Conducts inspection or verification work according to company standard, procedures and client requirements or agreed job scope and specifications.
Provides feedback and updates on the status or progress of the job to his immediate superior on a regular basis.
Prepares and submits complete and accurate inspection documents / reports including properly labelled / sealed samples and raw data of inspections/ witnessing performed.

Qualifications

Field experience & Good knowledge in OGC inspection activities as per the standard procedure.
Good knowledge on computer skills.
Graduation with minimum 2 year of experience, Or School certificate with minimum 3 year experience and IFIA certification – preferred.
