Safety Officer

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Safety Officer in Saudi Arabia. Our client is seeking an experienced safety professional who can join immediately on a transfer basis. Candidates with relevant experience in the same field are encouraged to apply early as the requirement is urgent and only one position is available.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct workplace safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
  
• Implement and monitor occupational health and safety procedures.
  
• Perform risk assessments and recommend appropriate control measures.
  
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety policies, procedures, and site requirements.
  
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses and prepare reports.
  
• Monitor proper use of PPE and safe working practices.
  
• Conduct safety briefings, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions.
  
• Maintain safety records, inspection reports, and corrective-action documentation.
  

Required Skills

1. Safety Management — Apply workplace safety procedures and controls.
   
2. Risk Assessment — Identify hazards and recommend mitigation measures.
   
3. HSE Compliance — Monitor adherence to safety requirements.
   
4. Safety Inspections — Conduct regular workplace/site inspections.
   
5. Incident Investigation — Support investigation and reporting of incidents.
   
6. PPE & Safety Procedures — Ensure correct implementation of protective measures.
   

Preferred Skills

• HSE/Safety certification
  
• Experience in a Saudi/GCC work environment

Candidates must have prior experience working as a Safety Officer or in a closely related safety/HSE role. Exact years of experience are not specified in the posting. Typical requirement for this role: 2–5 years of relevant experience.

Education

• Minimum: Diploma/Degree in Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field (typical)
  
• Preferred: NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent safety certification (typical)
