General Sales Manager

We are currently recruiting for a General Sales Manager for our client, a leading global industrial supplier, to be based in Saudi Arabia. This role is pivotal in growing the company's presence in the Saudi market, focusing on key account development and new business acquisition.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, operations management, and business development within the industrial sector.
You must have experience within the Valves/pipeline industry.
Responsibilities:
- Devise and implement the company's growth strategy for Saudi Arabia.
- Assume overall responsibility for revenue and profitability within the Saudi market.
- Advise company leaders on business requirements, challenges, and opportunities within the region.
- Collaborate with senior business development heads to capture customer opportunities.
- Identify and target key project and MRO sales opportunities, focusing on new business development and expansion of existing joint venture services.
- Contribute to the overall sales strategy and budget, and develop tactical plans aligned with the company's strategy.
Requirements:
- Legal resident of Saudi Arabia.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is advantageous.
- Strong business development experience with a proven ability to develop new/start-up business and sales.
- Knowledge and relationship-building skills for effective operation in the Saudi market.
- Understanding of large project sales, tendering, project management
- Solid operations and managerial experience.
- Experience with valve/automation, pipe, fitting, and flanges is highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel within the Middle East as required.
- Experience working with multinational and/or listed companies is an advantage.
