SAP BTP Consultant (Extension & Integration Focus)

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP Consultant with strong expertise in SAP BTP extension technologies and cloud-native development concepts, along with hands-on experience in SAP Integration Suite (CPI).
The role primarily focuses on integration delivery within SAP Integration Suite; however, the ideal candidate should possess broader SAP BTP platform knowledge and be capable of contributing to extension, side-by-side application, and cloud-native initiatives across SAP landscapes.
This opportunity is best suited for professionals with strong SAP BTP capabilities complemented by practical experience in SAP CPI and enterprise integrations.
Key Responsibilities
•    Design, develop, and support integration scenarios using SAP Integration Suite (CPI) with focus on iFlows and API-based integrations.
•    Build and maintain integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems using REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, and event-driven approaches.
•    Support integration enhancement and migration activities from PI/PO to SAP Integration Suite.

•    Configure and manage CPI adapters, cloud connectors, monitoring, and alerting capabilities.
•    Implement error handling, logging, and notification mechanisms for enterprise integration scenarios.
•    Collaborate with architects, functional consultants, and business stakeholders to design scalable and reusable integration solutions.
•    Contribute to SAP BTP extension development initiatives including side-by-side extensions, CAP-based services, and cloud-native applications.
•    Participate in technical design discussions involving SAP BTP services, security, APIs, and microservice-based architectures.
•    Support deployment, testing, and lifecycle management activities in Cloud Foundry environments.
•    Ensure compliance with authentication, authorization, and security standards across SAP BTP solutions.

•    Required Skills & Experience
SAP BTP / Extension Development
•    Strong understanding of SAP BTP services and architecture.
•    Hands-on exposure to:
•    SAP CAP Framework
•    SAP HANA Cloud
•    Cloud Foundry Environment
•    SAP Build / Fiori Elements
•    Event Mesh and API-based architectures
•    Understanding of side-by-side extension concepts and cloud-native application development.
•    Familiarity with authentication and authorization concepts using XSUAA, IAS, and Destination services.
•    Exposure to microservice-based and loosely coupled application architectures.
•    SAP Integration Suite / CPI
•    Experience working with SAP Integration Suite / CPI development and support activities.
•    Knowledge of:
•    iFlow development
•    REST / SOAP APIs
•    OData Services
•    IDoc integrations
•    JSON, XML, and related integration formats
•    Understanding of:
•    Error handling and exception management
•    Monitoring and alert notification mechanisms
•    Adapter configurations and connectivity setup
•    Cloud Connector integration scenarios
•    Exposure to PI/PO migration activities is an added advantage.

•    Experience in SAP BTP application development and enterprise integration scenarios.
•    Exposure to global implementation or AMS projects.
