SAP Business Objects (BOBJ) Developer

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP BusinessObjects reports, universes, and dashboards.
  
• Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into accurate BI reporting solutions.
  
• Build and manage BI semantic layers (universes) using IDT and/or UDT.
  
• Develop reports using Web Intelligence (WebI), Crystal Reports, and Lumira/Dashboard Designer.
  
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex Microsoft SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and views.
  
• Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  
• Collaborate with cross -functional teams including business users, data architects, and project managers.
  
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including specifications, data mappings, and report designs.
  
• Ensure compliance with government security standards and data handling policies.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of hands -on experience with SAP BusinessObjects (BI 4.x preferred).
  
• Strong expertise in Web Intelligence (WebI) report development.
  
• Proven experience in Universe design using IDT and/or UDT.
  
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, views).
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
• Strong analytical and problem -solving skills with high attention to detail.
  
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non -technical stakeholders.
  

• Experience with Crystal Reports and BI platform administration (scheduling, publications, security roles).
  
• Previous experience working with government or public -sector entities.
  
• Knowledge of SAP BW/BEx or other SAP data sources.
  
• Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
  
• Familiarity with Arabic -language reporting requirements.
