KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Science (Physics / Chemistry) Teachers at Lincoln College International play a crucial role in the growth and development of our students. You will:

• Deliver curriculum in person to students, with approximately 24 contact hours per week
• Design curriculum for hands-on classes (physics, chemistry)
• Deliver engaging learning activities that promote critical thinking and problem solving, and encourage students to become life-long learners
• Develop lesson plans and learning materials
• Deliver STEM-orientated instruction through Project-Based Learning methods
• Establish clear objectives for all lessons, curricular units, and projects, and communicate these objectives to the students
• Assess student progress and achievement in a variety of ways on a regular basis, providing reports as required

SALARY AND BENEFITS

• Gross salary circa SAR18,500 p/ £3,900 per month (including housing and other allowances) TAX FREE
• 30 working days annual leave + KSA national holidays

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

To be considered for this role, you MUST possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Chemistry/Physics/Engineering/STEM/Education
• Teaching qualification to level 4 (working towards level 5 within 2 years)
• Have a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the post-secondary level
• Experience in working within 3rd Millennium learning environments and with digital devices and peripherals, particularly CAM-controlled engineering machinery, including 3D printers
• Proven experience in effectively applying experiential learning practice
• Proven experience of sound formative assessment to inform learner progress and achievement
• Proven experience in working in partnership with other colleagues to design and deliver an integrated curriculum
