Job Description - Senior Account Manager (Sales) - Microsoft cloud

  • Description of the Job: 
  • As a Senior Account Manager specializing in Cloud Services, you will be responsible for cultivating and expanding strategic relationships with existing clients, driving adoption of our cloud solutions, and identifying opportunities for upsell and cross-sell within your account portfolio. Leveraging your expertise in cloud technologies and understanding of customer needs, you will serve as a trusted advisor to our clients, driving value realization and fostering long-term partnerships. 
  • Tasks and Responsibilities: 
  • Develop and execute account plans to achieve revenue retention and growth targets for cloud services within assigned accounts. 
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives, IT leaders, and business decision-makers. 
  • Understand client business objectives, challenges, and priorities, and align our cloud solutions to address their evolving needs and drive business outcomes. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, escalations, and service requests, ensuring timely resolution and superior customer satisfaction. 
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, solution architects, project managers, and support engineers, to deliver seamless end-to-end customer experiences. 
  • Proactively identify opportunities for upsell and cross-sell, and lead contract renewals and negotiations to maximize revenue retention and expansion. 
  • Conduct regular business reviews and performance discussions with clients, presenting insights, recommendations, and value-added services to drive mutual success. 
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the cloud ecosystem, and provide strategic guidance to clients based on market insights. 

 

  • Qualification (Education/Work Experience): 
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field; MBA preferred. 
  • Proven track record of success in account management or client relationship roles, with at least [X] years of experience in the cloud computing industry. 
  • Deep understanding of cloud technologies, architectures, and deployment models, with experience in selling and supporting cloud services such as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS). 
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand and articulate the impact of technology solutions on client business objectives and outcomes. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and credibility with diverse stakeholders. 
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (e.g., Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure) and productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Platform). 
  • Willingness to travel [percentage]% within the assigned territory
