Senior Accountant

• Monitor the daily
  performance of the accounting department.
  
• Supervising daily
  financial transactions.
  

• Supervising
  employees in the accounting department.
  
• Ensure
  the application of accounting and financial standards and principles.
  
• Participation
  in tax audit.
  
• Preparing
  monthly account reconciliations.
  
• Facilitating
  and completing monthly and annual closing procedures.
  
• Ensure
  accurate and timely completion of month -end procedures related to the
  Finance Department.
  
• Cooperating
  with the finance manager in order to assist in completing the monthly,
  temporary, and end -of -fiscal year accounts.
  
• Preparing
  a preliminary report on the financial accounts and other reports to be
  delivered to the chef accountants and then to the finance manager after
  detailed analysis and added value.
  
• Review,
  verify, and correct errors and discrepancies in financial entries,
  documents, and reports.
  
• Monitoring
  the fixed assets system and preparing reports.
  
• Maintain
  the general ledger and post daily entries.
  
• Assist
  in company audits.
  
• Data
  analysis and preparation of financial reports.
  
• Organize
  financial data into usable information and keep records up to date.
  
• Maintaining
  business confidentiality and applying the company’s regulations and
  procedures.
  

Requirements

• Proven
  experience as an accountant for a minimum of 3 years.
  
• Bachelor’s
  degree in accounting, Finance, or a relevant certification.
  
• Experience
  with general ledger functions and the month -end/year -end close process.
  
• Advanced
  MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables.
  
• Charted
  certifications are preferred.
