Job Description - Senior Application Analyst - IMOM Systems/IRIS Operations

Job Summary:

Structure and prioritize business requirements, and communicate plans with stakeholders for review and approval.
ssist with requirement gathering, system design development, and drafting of functional specifications.
Provide technical expertise and clear recommendations when assessing projects.
Identify necessary modifications in existing systems to meet user requirements.
Collaborate with the Project Leader, Data & Analytics, and ICT teams to ensure solutions are viable and consistent, adhering to IT standards, company policies, and procedures throughout the development process to support quality deliverables.
Prepare and present status reports during weekly management meetings.
Demonstrate a proactive, can-do attitude and perform any additional tasks as requested by ICT Management.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent.
Experience with IMOM (Integrated Manufacturing Operations Management System) or IRIS (Integrated Refinery Information System).
8+ years of relevant experience.
Experience in oil and gas or petrochemical companies.

Job-Specific Skills:

Information technology, including data processing and enterprise software applications.
Implementation of standards, procedures, and guidelines for operational processes.

Software interface management.
Technical documentation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows.

Business Domain Expertise:

Data Validation & Reconciliation: Automating the balancing of mass, energy, and volume across facilities to maximize user trust and operational excellence, including energy performance. This involves ensuring that transfers of process and utility flows are accurately and completely recognized.
Energy Performance Management: Implementing business processes that improve energy and emissions performance while balancing naturally conflicting objectives such as throughput, yield, and quality.
Decision Support and Visualization (DSV): Deploying solutions that support combined refinery and petrochemical functional requirements to improve site performance. DSV enables users at all organizational levels to answer key operational questions more quickly, frequently, and with better context-facilitating earlier and more effective decisions and maximizing profitability while balancing conflicting KPIs.
