Role Purpose
To support the ETSD Organization on contractual and procurement and contract management-related activities, in particular overseeing SAP processes and resolving issues.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES
Shape and lead the procurement services workstream
Lead the implementation of all procurement and contract administration activities within SAP (S4HANA/Ariba) including mentoring junior team members and troubleshooting issues.Lead and mentor staff in creation of purchase requisitions, PO amendments and all other procurement related functions within SAP (S4HANA/Ariba).Lead procurement-related activities within the ETSD:
Procurement packages pipeline forecastingVendor managementTender Document Formation and StrategySupplier negotiationsInterface with NEOM’s Procurement OrganizationContract amendmentsService/work order creation and administrationTracking of Purchase Requisitions with the NEOM Procurement Organization
Manage the maintenance of a sourcing and contract tracking databaseDevelop a standardized and robust process to follow up on various packages, including coordinating with departments such as Procurement, Finance, Legal, and Supplier Management.Represent the ETSD team as a key user with Procurement, raising purchase requisitions and purchase orders and ensuring streamlined vendor integrationSupport the wider team as required, in their day-to-day activities.
BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Expert knowledge working with SAP (S4HANA/Ariba)Understanding of typical procurement processes (vendor prequalification’s through to contract awards)Knowledge of standard contract formation stagesAccounting ExperienceExcellent attention to detail and the ability to pinpoint mistakesExcellent verbal and written English communication skillsKnowledge and understanding of various contract formsPrevious experiences creating, managing, and administering multiple contracts in excess of 10+ MMSARUnderstanding of tender cycles.Ability to present complex information and ideas to a range of audiences in a simple and interactive way (procurement activity)Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
Background in finance/procurement/business management/engineering preferred
