Job Description - Senior Data Analyst

The primary responsibility of the Senior Data Analyst will be to create meaning from data sets by transforming data into readable, goal-driven reports to assist in continuous innovation and growth.This is a project-based role, meaning the Analyst will work on specific projects with defined goals and timelines. This requires a detail-oriented individual with solid exposure to mathematical and statistical principles and a deep understanding of popular data analysis tools and databases. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product development, and operations, to deliver data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Develop and implement advanced analytics for various industry areas, including demand forecasting, customer behaviour analysis, and comprehensive sales analysis.
  • Create and maintain interactive dashboards and detailed reports that effectively visualize complex datasets for stakeholder comprehension.
  • Communicate data findings and insights to non-technical team members and stakeholders through clear, concise reports and presentations.
  • Utilize data modelling techniques to predict future trends based on historical data, providing actionable insights.
  • Design and lead A/B testing and other experimental methodologies to generate value-added insights for end users.
  • Stay current with industry trends and the competitive landscape to ensure that strategies are forward-thinking and innovative.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy through rigorous quality control and validation processes.
Requirements Academic Prerequisites: Bachelor's or Master's in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. Preferred Qualities:
  • +6 years of experience in data analysis, demonstrating a track record of impactful insights and business outcomes.
  • High skills in data cleaning and preprocessing techniques and data formatting.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in statistical software and programming languages such as R, Python, and SQL, with a minimum of 6 years in the field.
  • Ability to deal with larger and more complex datasets.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) with a minimum of +6 years in the field.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
  • Good knowledge of modeling concepts.
  • Good knowledge of NLP and machine learning is a plus.
  • Experience in the food and beverage industry is a plus.
  • Proactive, independent thinker with high energy/positive attitude.

Further information regarding the policy may be provided upon request and provided policies may change according to vendor’s change in their policy plan structures. Leaves & Holidays Policy as per Saudi Labor laws, some of which being: Annual Leave: 22 business days of paid Annual Leave per contract year. Holidays: paid Holidays inclusive of Eid Al Fitr, Eid Al Adha, Saudi National Day and Saudi Founding Day. Compassionate Leave: Paid Compassionate Leave of seven 7 calendar days, in the event of death of employee’s parent, spouse, or child. Sick Leave: Properly documented sick leave with full pay for up to 30 calendar days; and an additional 60 calendar days at 75% of salary, during each year of service. Employee Allowances As an employee of the Company, you will be eligible to participate in multiple Company-sponsored benefits and allowances, including: Housing Allowance Employees who do not receive housing by the Company receive a Housing Allowance of 25% of the employee's basic salary. Transportation Allowance Employees who do not receive transportation means by the Company receive a Transportation Allowance of 15% of the employee's basic salary.
