Senior Design Manager (Roads, Infrastructure, PR, Maritime) - (EOI)

The Senior Design Manager (Roads, Infrastructure, PR, Maritime) will lead and oversee the design and delivery of roads, infrastructure, public realm, and maritime projects within mixed-use developments. This role involves managing multidisciplinary design teams and stakeholders to ensure high-quality, innovative, and sustainable design solutions that meet project objectives and regulatory requirements.

As a key leader, the Senior Design Manager will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of design management from concept through to construction, driving design excellence, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and budgetary requirements in line with the company’s standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the design and delivery of roads, infrastructure, public realm, and maritime components within mixed-use developments.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Develop, implement, and monitor design schedules and budgets ensuring timely delivery.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
• Drive design quality assurance and review processes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand design requirements and objectives.
• Oversee integration of design packages across disciplines to achieve cohesive solutions.
• Provide strategic guidance on design innovations, sustainability principles, and best practices.
• Manage risk and resolve design issues proactively.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure, Urban Design, or related field.
• Extensive experience (10+ years) in design management of roads, infrastructure, public realm, and maritime projects, preferably within mixed-use developments.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent knowledge of local and international codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in design software and tools relevant to infrastructure design and project management.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within complex project environments and across cultural contexts.
