Senior Director - Development (Theme Parks)

Qiddiya Investment Company is excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Director - Development (Theme Parks) to lead the creation of a theme park that will set new standards for entertainment and leisure in Saudi Arabia. This role is crucial for overseeing the development of innovative attractions and experiences that will attract both local and international visitors.

In this strategic position, you will be responsible for guiding all aspects of theme park development, from concept through to execution. Collaborating with designers, engineers, and various stakeholders, you will ensure the design and construction of attractions align with the unique vision of Qiddiya and meet the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the strategic vision for theme park projects that align with Qiddiya's mission and market positioning.
• Lead the concept development, design, and execution phases of all theme park attractions and facilities.
• Conduct thorough market research and feasibility studies to inform project decisions and enhance guest appeal.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within financial constraints.
• Build and maintain partnerships with industry experts, contractors, and suppliers for innovative development solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and environmental sustainability throughout the development process.
• Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders, showcasing project progress and strategic recommendations.
• Foster a culture of creativity, teamwork, and excellence in the development process.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in theme park development or related industries.
• Demonstrated success in leading large-scale theme park or attraction projects from inception to completion.
• Strong understanding of the latest trends in theme park design and visitor experience enhancement.
• Proficient in project management principles, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, capable of inspiring a diverse group of professionals.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective stakeholder collaboration.
