Senior Irrigation Engineer-LDIP

HanmiGlobal Saudi is seeking a highly skilled Senior Irrigation Engineer - LDIP to lead the design and implementation of large-scale irrigation projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in irrigation system design, water management, and project leadership, ensuring sustainable and efficient irrigation solutions that meet client objectives and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of irrigation systems for the LDIP project, ensuring alignment with project specifications and industry best practices.
• Conduct site assessments and analyze soil, water, and climate data to optimize irrigation strategies.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, drawings, and cost estimates for irrigation works.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including landscape architects, civil engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Monitor project progress and oversee installation, commissioning, and testing of irrigation systems.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, safety standards, and quality control procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project staff.
• Manage procurement and supplier relationships relevant to irrigation materials and equipment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in irrigation design and project management, preferably in large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Proven expertise in LDIP or similar irrigation projects is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in irrigation design software and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of water resource management, hydraulics, and soil science.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with local regulations and standards in Saudi Arabia is an advantage.
