Position Summary

Currently, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Manager, Construction Management Delivery to join our team in supporting our client in the delivery of a state-of-the-art opera house. The Senior Construction Manager will oversee all aspects of construction management for the new Opera House project. Collaborating closely with project stakeholders, contractors, and subcontractors, they provide leadership and direction to ensure the successful execution of construction activities. Throughout the project, the Senior Construction Manager's expertise and leadership contribute to the successful delivery of the Opera House, meeting client expectations and achieving excellence in construction performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement construction plans, schedules, and budgets, monitoring progress, and managing resources to meet project objectives.
- Oversee the coordination of construction trades, ensuring efficient and safe construction practices on-site.
- Manage relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with construction standards, codes, and regulations.
- Play a key role in resolving construction-related issues and conflicts, identifying, and mitigating risks, and ensuring quality assurance and control processes are in place.
- Provide strategic guidance and direction to project teams, including managers, engineers, and subcontractors, to optimize project performance and mitigate risks.
- Develop and implement project management plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and communication strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in project management, with a focus on construction management and delivery and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with minimum 10yrs+ experience in GCC (KSA experience ideally).
- Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale construction projects from initiation to completion, with a strong emphasis on schedule and budget management.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Primavera P6, Procore, or Microsoft Project.
- PMP or similar certification is highly desirable.
