Senior Manager - Design (RES324)

Qiddiya Investment Company is leading the development of a world-class entertainment and leisure destination in Saudi Arabia. We are seeking an innovative and experienced Senior Manager - Design to join our dedicated design team. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding the design process across various projects, ensuring that our developments reflect creative excellence and align with the strategic vision of Qiddiya.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design development process for designated projects, managing all phases from conceptualization to execution.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, stakeholders, and other key partners to align design objectives with project goals.
• Review and critique design concepts, ensuring high standards of creativity, feasibility, and sustainability.
• Foster collaboration within the design team, encouraging the sharing of ideas and innovative solutions.
• Prepare and present design proposals and progress reports to stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Ensure design compliance with regulatory standards, budget constraints, and quality benchmarks.
• Identify potential risks in the design process and implement corrective measures appropriately.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate innovative practices in design.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to their professional development..

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 9-12 years of experience in design management, preferably in large-scale projects.
• Hospitality, Retail projects experience.
• Demonstrable portfolio showcasing a range of completed design projects and innovative approaches.
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills, promoting a collaborative work environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
• In-depth knowledge of sustainability practices and relevant design regulations.
